Bedbugs temporarily near Va. hospital’s emergency room
A medical center in Henrico County short-term closed its er after staff discovered an individual had bedbugs.
Bon Secours spokeswoman Charlotte Perkins informs press outlets that St. Mary’s Medical center immediately cleared the waiting space following the bedbugs were discovered Saturday. Grownup patients seeking emergency treatment had been rerouted to the pediatric crisis department.
The er was closed for four hrs while an exterminator handled the facility.
