Brutal chilly returns to Midwest for prolonged stay

CHICAGO – A unique weather pattern that drives air flow from the Arctic Circle south will deliver temps plummeting from Minneapolis to Louisville, Ky., and leave an enormous swath of the united states colder than Alaska.

Mike Hudson of the National Climate Support says the wind chill can make Minneapolis feel just like minus 43 degrees Monday morning hours – far colder compared to the minus 4 degrees it’ll feel just like in the nation’s northernmost town of Barrow, Alaska.
