Okla bill would ease school policies on imaginary, toy weapons

Schoolchildren in Oklahoma cannot become punished for chewing their breakfast pastries in to the form of a gun under an expenses introduced this week by way of a Republican legislator.

Rep. Sally Kern stated Wednesday her gauge dubbed the normal Sense Zero Tolerance Take action was in reaction to school districts having guidelines that are too rigid or inflexible.

Kern cited a recently available Maryland situation that gained national press attention in which a boy has been suspended after his instructor accused him of chewing his Pop Tart in to the form of a gun.
