Russian teenager busted in Pennsylvania for creating bombs
The Russian roommate of a Penn Condition student who has been billed with creating a suspected bomb in his bed room has said that the 19-year-old recently tripped three “mini-bombs” simply outside their apartment.
Andrew Leff told he warned Vladislav Miftakhov to eliminate the bomb-making materials. He known as Miftakhov “dumb” and “crazy”, however, not dangerous.
Miftakhov has been in jail on Sunday in Altoona, after becoming arrested on Friday and billed with possessing a weapon of bulk destruction, risking a catastrophe along with other counts. Court records usually do not list an attorney for Miftakhov.
Police said these were investigating a reported marijuana developing operation at Miftakhov’s apartment if they discovered and dismantled the suspected bomb. In addition they allegedly found a suitcase made up of explosives-related material.
